30 Day Squat Challenge - Week 3 (Again)

With so many things going on these last two weeks I was exhausted from running around all over as well as dancing and standing on my feet all day. I know this isn't technically a 30 day challenge right now but I will continue where I left off and finish these squats. I do want to mention that I have noticed a difference in my legs and butt, my muscles are firmer and there is definitely more lift in the butt area! I am so happy with the results that I want to continue with this routine. Also, the workout pact that I started with my sister officially began at the beginning of this week. The first week for me will not be a good one, I did not have a scale to track my progress so I went out and bought one on Tuesday. I don't usually trust the digital scales that claim to calculate body fat percentage but I decided to give this one a try. The main thing I wanted the scale for is to track my progress weight wise but what I care the most about is how I look physically. Once my clothes start  feeling looser and my jeans fall off my butt then I know I'm on the right track.

30 Day Squat Challenge - Week 3

I'm on the 3rd week of the squat challenge and it is so hard. I've been losing motivation but still complete the squats for the day. I can feel a difference in my butt and legs though so this has given me a boost in keeping up with it. Once I am done with the whole challenge, I may continue it by starting a new 30 days and adding weights. I am completely finished with this semester so I will have more time to workout and prepare healthy meals!

30 Day Squat Challenge - Week 2

I'm on the second week of the squat challenge! I've been keeping up with the calendar and have been sticking with it. The first week was not so bad, I went back to work for a few days so I definitely did more squats than the challenge had me do for those days. I can't really tell if there is a difference yet but the amount of squats I have to do later should improve results faster. If you're doing the Squat Challenge as well, keep at it! The results will show up before we know it.

Happy Birthday to my Wonderful Mama!

Today is my mother's birthday and I want to wish her all the best. She has helped me through everything in life and I am very grateful for everything she has done for me.

Workout Pact

My sister, Angelica, and I have made a workout pact. We got tired of telling each other that we need to workout and lose weight while still not achieving any of those goals in the end. We decided we needed to do a rewards/consequences program in order to motivate ourselves.

30 Day Squat Challenge - Week 1

As many of you know, I have been struggling with my weight for a long time. I have not been doing the Insanity workouts for a while now... I know, if I want results then I really need to work for them. I need to get some other issues taken care of that will lessen the stress in my life which will help immensely with my helping me lose weight.
