Awesome Weekend in the Mountains

A couple of months ago, a friend of mine wanted to have a group of us get together and go camping (cabining technically since we stayed in a cabin hehe). We finally got everything together and went this last weekend.

Spring Has Not Yet Sprung...

It snowed some more today here in Eaton. Everyone was hoping the snow would stop and warmer weather was headed our way but turns out that was not the plan. I for one am grateful for the snow, last year was such a dry year that we are in desperate need of the moisture. I have a feeling we will have a wet Spring as well with lots of thunderstorms.

Organization and Working Ahead

The rest of the semester seems like it comes down to those two things. There are 5 more weeks left of school and I have been trying to finish up my classes before the semester ends. All of my classes are online so that saves time and money that I would be spending on driving to Fort Collins every day. I have been distracted with my school work though, the computer is in our bedroom and it is a complete mess (well, it is even more of a mess now since I started a complete redecorating and deep cleaning mission). I just had to do something about it! We only have one huge bedroom to ourselves at the moment (no closet included) so it feels like everything is all over the place. It is located above the garage so it feels like we have our own studio apartment, but only half the space and no kitchen or bathroom. I decided that I will section the room out and divide it up into little spaces to help calm down my OCD.

So far, I am about 2/5 of the way there. I have sectioned off the "Bedroom," "Office," and about 1/3 of the "Living Room" spaces, I am working on the "Pet Corner" now and doing all of the laundry that mysteriously showed up once I started moving things around. I am able to focus more on school work now even though I'm not completely done which is awesome! I will post some pictures once everything is done to show how it will look.

Updates - Back to Work after a Great Break

There hasn't been anything exciting going on right now with myself. Spring Break was great, I spent it with Tommy's mom, sister, and niece in Sterling. It was great getting to spend time with them. After that, I went down to my parents house and spent time with them all week until Easter Monday, which is the best Polish holiday! It's called Lany Poniedziałek. There is so much about the tradition that I cannot write about it right now (because I'm falling asleep). Anyways, it is back to school now and I am trying to finish classes early.

On the other hand, Tommy started his new job on Tuesday! His life is a bit more exciting right now, especially since he will be working about 80+ hours a week. That will suck for a bit but we will be able to pay off our debts and start saving for a house and our wedding! I will also be able to buy lots of groceries and start eating healthy, lots of vegetables and fruits are coming my way, and I will be able to prepare healthy meals ahead of time.

Time for bed, I can barely keep my eyes open. Stay tuned for all the great recipes I will be sharing soon as well as my progress on Insanity and overall improvement!
