Busy, Busy, Busy...

I know I haven't made a post since last year (literally) and I've been trying to find time to write but I have not had too many exciting things happen until recently. Yesterday, I was at a friends baby shower and had a blast! A bunch of friends and I decided to get her a big present so we surprised her with a bassinet/playard for her baby girl :) It was nice to hangout with friends I haven't seen in a while and have a girl's get together. I made these Banana Split Bites as a dessert and they were a hit with everyone, I just could not stop them from melting!

I had some left over from the shower but once I brought them home, my fiance and his cousin devoured the rest of them. I have another baby shower to go to in a few months but I think I might just stick with making cookies for that one... I just can't help it though! I love cooking/baking and when that gets paired with a need to create a new dish or to experiment with a new recipe then I just go overboard lol

School and work have been keeping me busy as well. I'm just taking a few classes this semester but I have picked up hours at work. I'm just hoping I can get through this semester with my sanity intact until I can start Summer semester and stop working!
